Terms of service
VettedSale is an Australian business. Contact us using the enquiry form.
These terms apply when a business (“you”) books or uses a service from VettedSale (“we”, “us”). By booking, you agree to them.
1. Services and prices
Workspace plans are priced in Australian dollars excluding GST, as shown on the Plans page: Essentials $79 a month, Agency $249 a month, and Done for you from $3,500 set-up, then the Agency plan. Annual billing is 10 times the monthly price. The plan and price are confirmed with you before your account is activated.
Expert review: $1,500 one-off, excluding GST, and it works with any plan. It includes an expert gap review against all 18 items, a 30/60/90 day plan to fix each gap worked through with you, and a 90-day follow-up with a written update. Other reviews are quoted on enquiry and confirmed in writing before a booking is confirmed. Quoted prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. They are:
- Quick Check: the reviewer reviews your self-check answers, followed by a 30-minute call and a summary email.
- Gap Review: a full review of the 18 checklist items, a written report, and a 30/60/90 day plan.
2. Booking
A booking request is not confirmed until we confirm a time, normally within one business day. We may decline a booking, for example if the business is larger than the service is designed for.
3. Payment
Plans are invoiced monthly or annually, as agreed, once your account is activated. For an expert review, we issue a tax invoice after the review or report is delivered, unless we agree otherwise. Invoices are payable within 14 days by bank transfer to the account shown on the invoice. We may hold back the 90-day follow-up until earlier invoices are paid.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
- You may reschedule or cancel free of charge with at least 2 business days' notice.
- With less notice, we may charge up to 25% of the service price to cover reserved time, except where the cancellation is caused by illness, emergency or circumstances outside your control.
- If we need to reschedule, we will offer the next suitable time. If none suits you, we will refund anything you have paid for services not delivered.
5. Scope and limits
The service is a gap review. It compares the business's AML/CTF arrangements against AUSTRAC's published obligations for reporting entities, as we understand them at the time of review. It is not legal advice, not an audit, and not an independent evaluation under the AML/CTF Rules. It does not certify compliance. Results are only ever given as one of four bands: Solid, Gaps to close, Exposed, or Not started. A band describes the gaps found. It is not a finding that the agency meets its obligations, and it should not be presented to anyone as one.
The agency is solely responsible for meeting its obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) and the AUSTRAC Rules. Obligations and guidance may change after the review date.
6. Your responsibilities
The review is based on the answers, documents and explanations the agency gives us. You are responsible for making sure they are accurate and complete. We do not independently verify them beyond what we are shown. A report based on incomplete or inaccurate information may not reflect the agency's true position.
6A. Workspace
The agency portal provides templates, registers and a training module to help the agency run its own AML/CTF program. The agency remains responsible for its program, its customer due diligence and its decisions, including whether to report a matter to AUSTRAC. We do not lodge reports for you. Generated documents are templates that the agency must review and tailor. Sanctions screening results show possible matches against the DFAT Consolidated List for human review; a result of no match covers only that list on the date shown. Training certificates confirm only that a staff member completed the training module. Keep your password private; we can revoke portal access when the engagement ends.
6B. Self-serve accounts
A new account opens once we have reviewed it, agreed a plan with you and activated it; nothing is charged before then. If a plan is paused or cancelled, the workspace becomes read-only: your records are kept and you can still read and export them. You must give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password private. The account owner controls who has access and what role they have. You are responsible for what your users record. We may suspend or close an account that is used unlawfully, abuses the service or breaches these Terms. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. The live gap score is self-assessed from your records; it is not a review, an audit or advice. An expert review is an optional add-on, quoted on enquiry.
7. Confidentiality
We keep the agency's review information and report confidential, and use them only to provide the service. We will not disclose them except to our service providers and advisers, with your consent, or where the law requires it. Share links are private. You are responsible for who you forward them to, and you can ask us to revoke a link at any time. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
8. Intellectual property
We own the copyright in our checklist, methodology, templates and report format. Once the invoice is paid, you may use, copy and share your report within the agency and with your advisers, for the agency's internal purposes. You may not publish it, or present it as a certificate or endorsement.
9. Liability
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, or for any other claim connected with the services, is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including penalties, fines or enforcement action against the agency, or loss of profit, revenue or reputation.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms, and the version in force at the time of booking applies to that booking.
